iGolf neo Pocketsize Golf GPS Review
The iGolf neo Pocketsize Golf GPS is probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to golf GPS. Retailing at $149.00, this is a huge saving from the typical $400.00 plus GPS golf systems. However, with this decrease in price is also a decrease in some of the features. Don’t expect a clear color screen that shows you everything and anything- the iGolf is more straightforward than this. However, it shows you what you need to know to improve your golf game. You can buy this GPS unit cheapest on Amazon through this link.

igolf-neoLet’s review the features of this awesome golf gadget.

  • Battery Life: Up to 16 hours
  • Weight: 2.5 oz
  • Screen: 80 x 120 High-contrast LCD Screen

The iGolf neo Pocketsize is most certainly pocketsize. I even forgot it was in my pocket. It weighs only 2.5 ounces and can easily fit into your pocket. It also has a high contrast LCD screen, up to 16 hours of battery life and accuracy within 1-3 yards.
The iGolf comes with a built in SiFP Star III GPS receiver and holds up to 10 courses at once. You download the courses from iGolf.com and you have access to courses all over the globe, not just in your backyard. This is perfect for those golfers who are headed on vacation.

Only one thing I dont like about the IGolf Neo
You will need to also buy a subscription to get the course information. This is the only negative thing I can say about this GPS device. Even though you have to pay a small subscription fee, I still rank this as one of my favorite GPS units out there. The iGolf is weather resistant, durable, ready to use out of the box and compatible with Windows users. You can greatly improve your golf game, lower your handicap and know the course before you even select a club with this handy golf helper.

The Sonocaddie XV2 Personal Golf GPS is a GPS gadget designed to help you improve your golf game by giving you accurate information about the courses you find yourself on. The XV2 offers you a great computer-assisted alternative to the traditional yardage signs sprinkled about the course. No more hunting for that marker! Now you can just look it up on the XV2, and get right down to the game on each hole.

If you want to buy this golf GPS Device, it is on sale at Amazon here.

gps golfSonocaddie XV2 Spec Review:

  • Personal golf GPS navigator – reads the distance between any two points on the course
  • Helps you hit better approach shots while avoiding sand traps and water hazards
  • Extremely user friendly – you can practically use this without ever picking it up before.
  • Includes digital scorecard, driving distance calculator, and data cable

But of course, the Sonocaddie XV2 Personal Golf GPS offers you much more than that. In addition to green distances, the device holds records of all the hazards on any given course. There’s a free online database of courses that’s user-supplemented, and if the course you visit often isn’t in it, you can add it yourself by mapping the course as you play it. The downloadable courses are also easily edited, so that if you find a hazard that’s missing, you can add it yourself with a few button presses.

The menus on the Sonocaddie XV2 Personal Golf GPS are fairly intuitive and easy to navigate, which is a big plus for this kind of gadget. Nothing is worse than knowing information is in there somewhere, but not being able to find it. That’s not a problem with the XV2.

The Sonocaddie XV2 Personal Golf GPS is an excellent buy for the avid golfer. This GPS Unit is currently on sale on Amazon through this link. $120 off.

In addition to providing you with course information, the device will also keep track of your score for you, and even notes down your drive distances. Impress your friends with how far you can drive a ball! This option also makes it easier to see how averse weather conditions and other variables affect your game. The XV2′s battery life is around 10 hours, which means that even on those long-haul games, you’re not going to run out of power.
