If you haven’t caught up with the latest trend in golf technology, I highly suggest you consider purchasing a golf GPS unit. These things will save you so much time and effort it’s not even funny. No longer do you have to sit there and try to guess how far away the hole is from your ball position.

This GPS device is currently on sale. You can get it $100 off through this link on Amazon.

The best thing about the SkyCaddie GPS is that it will decrease your score by at least a couple strokes. You would be surprised how much information this thing can give you – making it easier for you to select the type of club and to know how much power to put behind your stroke.

Let’s take a look at the technical specs of the SkyCaddie

Full-featured golf GPS with large, color LCD with automatic backlighting.

Really easy to use – even if you aren’t very gadget friendly. This is a pretty straight forward unit.

IntelliGreen technology with full depth and shape of the green from any angle of approach.

Completely water resistant so playing in the rain won’t hurt it.

Has the longer battery life than most of the other golf GPS units on the market – lasts for over 14 hours on a single charge.

There is only one thing I don’t like about this GPS device.

One thing I don’t like is they charge you for access to their membership site where you can download thousands of different courses. While it does include a lot of courses right out of the box, it still doesn’t have them all…unless you hit there download site. While it is pretty cheap, it is still an extra expensive none the less.

All in all, the SkyCaddie SG5 GPS is a magnificent and handy little golf gadget that is worth carrying around. It is small, easy to use, and best of all very accurate. The great thing about it, is it may even save you a stroke or two!

If you want to buy the Sky Caddie SG5, you can get it on sale here at Amazon.
